Road Trip! New Mexico Bound

Never before have the people of Albuquerque and Santa Fe heard the sounds of the Amarillo Boy Concert Choir in their cities, in their environment. ABCC will tour New Mexico in March of 2020, sharing the sweet sounds that only young men can produce.

The tour will begin with a thorough exploration of the Albuquerque Zoo and Aquarium and then a bird’s eye survey from the top of Sandia Peak. After we’ve seen the ABC’s of ABQ, the boys will head to Santa Fe and explore the rich Pueblo history found at the foot of the Sangre de Cristo Mountains.

The boys will give a public concert in the world renown Santa Fe Plaza and visit places like the Loretto Chapel (the site of the mystical spiral staircase), the New Mexico History Museum, Palace of the Governors, and more.

Before the weekend is out, ABCC will visit Los Alamos for an explosive community concert with Coro de Camara. Coro’s website says that they strive to give “singers and audiences alike a unique experience of culture, language, and musical expression.” and “ Coro’s singing…provide(s) a richness and depth that lead to memorable performances.”

Tour dates: March 27-29, 2020
Tour expense: $425 per person
